Obi Emelonye Steps up with ‘Oxford Garden’
Nollywood movie director and producer, Obi Emelonye, is out with new movie titled, 'Oxford Garden' which was shot in London and in collaboration with Africa Magic Original Films.
Obi happens to be the first African director to shoot a feature film at East End Studios, a studio that is mainly used by UK and US mainstream filmmakers and producer.
Oxford Garden is an inspiring love movie that tells the story of an out of favour boxer, in search of redemption. He later fell in love with a young lady he met at the Oxford Gardens.
The movie features two times golden glove heavyweight champion, top model and Hollywood actor Ngoli Okafor, who acted the role of Julius who fell in love with a mysterious lady called Munachi. Other characters include Ngozi Thompson Igwebike, Savannah Roy and D'Richy Obi-Emelonye the daughter of the director.
Obi Emelonye has produced movies like; Last Flight to Abuja, Mirror Boy amongst others.
