How Wizkid lost supremacy battle at Chris Brown’s Mombasa concert
By Rotimi Agbana
Last weekend, Star Boy Records henchman, Ayo Balogun, aka 'Wizkid', reportedly fought and lost a battle of supremacy, with his Tanzanian counterpart, Ali Kiba, at the Mombasa Rocks Concert, headlined by American superstar, Chris Brown, in Mombasa, Kenya. Ali Kiba who had been scheduled to hit the stage before Wizkid, expressed his displeasure and dissatisfaction at the arrangement, citing that he is more popular and has a bigger fan base than Wizkid in Kenya, but Wizkid bluntly refuted this claim, stressing that his fan base also supersedes Ali Kiba's in Kenya. Hence, he believes he should be a best kept secret for a later time at the concert. *Wizkid
The ugly incident which was said to have delayed Chris Brown's time of appearance on stage, later came to an end as the Tanzanian singer finally won the argument when the organisers of the concert conceded to Wizkid performing before Ali Kiba.
