Nigerian Comedian Gandoki breaks Guinness World Record
Ace comedian Gandoki (Tony Mofe Ereku) On Saturday 1st of October put Nigeria on the world map by becoming the first Comedian to perform non-stop stand-up comedy for 42 hours and 10 mins.
He now holds the new world record for the Longest Stand-up comedy performance by an individual betting the past record of 40 hours and 8 mins. The world breaking challenge started on Thursday 29th of October by 8:00 pm at the Exclusive mansions hotel, Victoria island and climaxed at about 12:34 pm on Independence day, when he beat the previous record.
Many industry mates turned up, the likes of Ali Baba, Seyi law, Ogus baba, Ushbebe, Koffi, Bovi, Shakara, Milli, Mc abbey, Grand commander, Fyne monkey, Baba kay, Paparazzi, Young6 etc. to encourage, show love and support for Gandoki. The audience were awed by Gandoki’s unique performance as he delivered creative jokes which left the crowd reeling with laughter. Team OneLagos (Min. of Arts Tourism & Culture) was duly represented alongside other Corporate bodies.
The Warri born comedian said he used this performance to showcase to the world that Nigeria was indeed a creative hub and the happiest place in the world, with unmatched and unique talents. He thanked his colleagues, fans, and the general public for their love and support throughout his challenge.
