Nigerian music stars are indisputably setting global records as their works are being valued internationally.

Songs recorded by Davido and MC Galaxy, Nigerian singers, were featured in the soundtrack of Queen of Katwe, a yet-to-be released Hollywood movie.

Skelewu and Sekem, commercial hit singles of Davido and MC Galaxy respectively, were among the twenty songs used in the movie.

Davido's big hit titled Aye which was released in 2014 will be used as a soundtrack for new Walt Disney movie titled Queen of Katwe. Davido took to Twitter to announce it.

MC Galaxy's hit single Sekem will also be featured in the film as it is also part of the complete soundtrack .

Queen of Katwe is an American biographical sports drama film, which depicts the life of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan chess player from Katwe who becomes a Woman Candidate Master after her performances at World Chess Olympiads.

However, top US actors, Lupita Nyong'o and David Oyelowo starred in the movie.
