After a bidding war between Universal Music and Sony Music, the only Two Major Distribution companies in the world, Wizkid has decided to go with the latter and just inked a global record deal with Sony Music in New York last Tuesday, September 13.

According to sources, Wizkid will receive a 7 figure advance (in US Dollars) and sign to RCA Records who will handle his distribution deal in the United States.

The pop star has earlier been reported to have signed a global deal, which according to report, is the biggest ever deal signed by an African. The deal dwarfs that of Davido with Sony Music.
