Budding singer, make-up artiste and event planner, Joy Ikade has stated that music is not just a passion for her; to her, it is more like food.

Ikade says she started singing from an early age, and she can never do without music. In her words, 'I love music because it makes me happy. I feel good when I sing because music is just like food to me. Whenever I am down, I just listen to some of my mentors' songs, and I feel relieved.'

On what she intends to achieve with her music career, the 22-year-old vocalist enthused, 'I want to use music to change people's thinking out there. I want them to feel the power in music, because it is a very powerful tool that can be used to change the world.

Ikade, who participated in the Miss Bikini pageant, 2015 edition, also stated that she has lots of goodies in stock for her fans before the year runs out. According to her, 'My fans should just keep their fingers crossed because I would be surprising them in a good way soon.'
