Acne can be really frustrating, especially when you have tried everything possible and nothing seems to be working. Don't give up yet, you can still get that spotless face that you desire. Here are five items you can easily find at home that would help you get rid of your acne once and for all.

1. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera has antibacterial properties that kill the bacteria that cause acne. It also helps heal scars faster, balance skin moisture and stimulate new skin growth. To use, dry your face and use a cotton ball to apply aloe juice over your entire face. If using a fresh leaf, peel away the green skin and apply directly to your face. Let it dry completely before rinsing with warm water. Use daily or several times per week.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has antiseptic properties that nip acne-causing bacteria in the bud. It also contains malic acid and lactic acid that gently exfoliate and soften skin. Mix one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with 3 teaspoons if water, and apply with a cotton ball. Rinse with warm water after 10 minutes. Repeat 3 times daily.

3. Baking Soda
Baking soda has cooling properties that can help to reduce inflamed acne. All you have to do is mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of water or lemon juice to form a paste. Wipe your face and gently rub the paste over your damp skin with your fingertips. Rinse with warm water to remove completely. Repeat 2 to 3 times each week

4. Tea tree oil
Tea tree oil has properties that kill the bacteria that cause acne. Mix 1/2 teaspoon tea tree oil with 2 tablespoons of water or aloe vera juice or gel. Use a cotton wool to apply the solution to affected areas. Repeat twice daily.

5. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice reduces excess oil and acts as a mild exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and prevent clogged pores. Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for best results. Wet a cotton ball with the juice and wipe over the affected areas. If you have sensitive skin, dilute with water. Leave it on for as long as you like (we recommend longer than 30 minutes) the rinse off with warm water. Repeat every 1 to 3 days
