Oluseyi Asurf Begins Principal Photography For His New Movie ‘hakkunde’
The principal photography of the movie ‘Hakkunde’ has begun. The star studded shoot is taking place in Kaduna, featuring multi-award winning actors, Toyin Aimakhu, Frank Donga and the other actors are arguably the best from the northern part of Nigeria, Ali Nuhu, Rahama Sadau, Maryam Booth, Ibrahim Daddy, Hadiza Soja, Isa Bello Ja, Produced and Directed by the AMVCA Best Short Film 2016 winner, Asurf Oluseyi, Written by Tomi Adesina, Gift Imafidon, Asurf Oluseyi.
This is the first full length movie from the stable of Asurf Films, Oluseyi Asurf is known for quality and he is usually listed among the best in terms of detailing shoot as all his movie stands out in terms of story, cinematography and quality, like A Day with Death, Hell or High Waters, Just Not Married, e.t.c
SYNOPSIS
Hakkunde is an intriguing story of a young graduate who battles everything (including love, family, discrimination, drug abuse, culture, tradition and self) on his journey to self-discovery and actualization. The story is characterized by actions and reactions that defines the everyday Nigerian society, with its ups and downs and with a particular focus on the life of a job hunting graduate “Akande” who found himself in totality while searching for a job, and a better life.
The movie is been shot in Kaduna and Lagos and the entire production team are positive it is going to be one of the most anticipated movie in 2016, as it has already gotten people talking.
