Veteran Ghanaian actor, Abeiku Nyame aka Jagga Pee has made another passionate appeal to President Mahama and the general public by indicating that he needs Ghc40,000.00 to undergo an urgent heart surgery at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital in Accra.

According to him, after going through a medical test at the national Cardiothoracic centre at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital a fortnight ago,the report indicates that he is suffering from rheumatic heart disease with severe aortic valve incompetence and mild to moderate mitral valve regurgitation.

In view of this ,he needs GHC40,000.00 to undergo an urgent open-heart operation to replace the disease valve with mechanical prosthetic valve.

He told Reagan Mends of www.razzonline.com ; "i have undergone the medical test and the report states that i am suffering from rheumatic heart disease with severe aortic valve incompetence and mild to moderate mitral valve regurgitation.

"Doctors say i will need an open -heart operation to replace the disease valve with mechanical prosthetic valve",Jagga Pee opined sorrowfully to www.razzonline.com

He continued,"the total cost for the surgery is 20,000.00 US dollars but the Ghana Heart Foundation will assist by paying 50% which is 10,000.00 US dollars

" I need 10.000.00 dollars which is equivalent to Ghc 40,000.00 to undergo the surgery- But where am i going to get such an amount of money from?So am again appealing to the President and the general public to help me undergo the surgery by contacting me through 0242958030".

He then thanked all those who supported him financially to undergo the medical test

it would be recalled that the veteran actor who started his professional acting in 1984 and played a lead role in the popular 'TV theatre' series,has been battling with an enlargement of the heart for almost a year now.

Because of the gravity of his detoriating health condition,he was quickly transferred to the 37 military hospital where he was scheduled to undergo a series of tests that would ascertain whether he would undergo a heart surgery or not.

Jagga Pee,who didn't have an amount of Ghc2,500.00 to undergo the medical test made a passionate appeal to Prez mahama and the general public.

The actor's passionate appeal yielded results as management of End Point Homeopathic Clinic presented a Cheque of GHC5000 and Peace FM's "Entertainment Review" crew headed by the finest entertainment radio talk show host in Ghana,Akwesi Aboagye,also presented GHC1500 cash to Jagga Pee after sharing his sad story on the program.
