Miss New Nigeria World 2016 Northern Queen, HRM Carmelita Akieh, stepped into the VIP Lounge of the prestigious AFRICAN CENTRE BAR n LOUNGE in Kano State last weekend, July 15, 2016 to be precise which birthed the dawn of an unequalled celebration.

DJ SWAGS' big band crooned Samklef's "Birthday" in the background. Brightly coloured boa draped sequin-adorned chairs, square shaped velvet boxes sat in the centre of each table and an enviable group of guests all dressed in white (colour of the day), perched proudly in designated positions. MC Fat Mike wasn't a bad idea for the event as he thrilled the guests to rib cracking jokes.

Starboy Studio was right on point to capture the height of the event that ranged from opening prayer, cutting of the cake, toast, dance to "item 7." However, worthy of note is the toast to more celebrations, achievements and more "crowns" led by Queen Ladi Haruna, MNE Queen of Nollywood Hospitality.

Gracefully noted among the guests were celebrities in the likes of Mr. Moh'd Dahiru, Journalist Express FM2 Kano, Mr. Francis, CEO Urban Mingles International Magazine, MNE Queen of Nollywood 2016, Queen Rejoice Akandu, Ishaq Danguguwa, Ministry for Local Government Kano, Makoda LGA, MNE Queen of Nollywood Tourism, Queen Favour Ogbonna,MNE Queen of Nollywood Arts and Culture, Queen Melly Moffat, Mr. Muhammed Bala Sani, Senior reporter NTA Kano, MNE Queen of Nollywood Hospitality, Queen Ladi Haruna to mention but a few.

As part of the celebrant's remark while she delivered her vote of thanks, HRM Carmelita Akieh expressed gratitude to the CEO of Classic Creative Media, organisers of Miss New Nigeria World, Mr Youngdi Azormor for providing her a platform to trod upon to limelight.
