Over the weekend, rumours of D’banj’s secret wedding to a mystery lady was in the air, although with lots of uncertainty to the story.

It seems like some Nigerian entertainers are beginning to appreciate the idea of keeping their personal lives out of the limelight for obvious reasons.

Weeks ago, Tinsel stars, Osas and Gbenro revealed they were expecting a baby, only for the baby to arrive just a few days after the unveiling.

Last Friday, Mavin artiste, Di’ja broke the internet with a revealing video of a secret no one knew about her. A day after, D’banj was said to hold a secret wedding ceremony, which reportedly hosted just the parents of the couple and 25 guests.

Initially, the lady who D’banj married was not revealed. She was described as having Nigerian and South African roots as well as having American citizenship.

Well, according to popular blogger Stella Dimokokorkus, the lady who stole Dbanj ’s surname is a 25-year old lady, Lineo Didi Kilgrow.

She grew up in Jos and is currently studying at the University of Abuja . She is the half-sister of MTV VJ Samantha Walsh, co-host of “Bigger Friday Show.”

According to the reports, Kilgrow and the 36-year old singer tied the knots on Saturday, June 2, 2016 in Jos.

D’banj and Didi Kilgrow started dating in January 2015. “Didi is a very nice girl,very humble, very down to earth and blew away the Kokomaster’s heart,” an inside source reportedly told Stella Dimokokorkus. D’banj proposed four months ago and in early June they had the traditional wedding in Jos.

Although it is yet to be confirmed, there is a possibility that D’banj is indeed married to this mystery woman. In an interview with Punch in April 2016, D’banj stated that he will get married soon and in a secret wedding.

“I would tell you the truth, I am not married but if I am, nobody would hear about it. It is going to be a very quiet wedding because I am tired of people asking me that question. It is my personal life and it is not going to change my music or brand,” he said.

Unfortunately, the said bride has no account on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, therefore further investigations can not be carried out on her part. However, Newsmen await D’banj’s representatives to release an official statement to authenticate the rumour.
