Ice Prince in intellectual theft scandal!
Ice prince has officially announced his exit from Chocolate City to float his own label called 'Super Cool Cats'.
His label has already kicked off with the release of his single 'Chike'. Now that the rapper is having a fresh beginning as a boss of his own, one would say this is no time for him to be associated with any form of scandal.
Well, the artiste has been called out by entertainment critic, Osagie Alonge, who claims Ice prince's 'Chike' is an imitation of Olamide's 'Abulesowo'.
The song which actually shares some similarity with that of Olamide, happens to be one of ice prince's hottest record, and the artiste is yet to comment on what he was accused of, neither has Olamide spoken about the whole issue as well.
He wrote: “so we all gonna act like we don't know, ice prince Chike isn't a direct rip off of Olamide's Abulesowo? If ice prince is tired of making music, then let him quit. Jacking someone's recent flow and cadence is tasteless.
Spend weeks hyping a song as your hottest record only to serve us a knock off version.”
