The manager of Wizkid, Godwin Tom has apologised for his 'rude comments' to a fan. Godwin was lambasted for being rude to a female fan few days ago.

He had also posted a screenshot of a private conversation sent to him by a female fan of Wizkid. The female fan, according to Godwin's explanation, in his apology, was apparently chatting with a fake Wizkid on Facebook.

Godwin said in his apology that, "regarding my recent post, I have apologised to the young lady and explained that she has been interacting with a fake Wizkid on Facebook.

"I respect and appreciate those that contacted me regarding this matter. To those that were quick to judge me, and (also) to those that have felt disappointed in my posts and responses, I sincerely apologise."

Some Nigerian celebs have mostly been found guilty of insulting their fans on social media platforms, especially on twitter. Wizkid, Davido are few of the celebs who have insulted their fans on the internet.
