On Sunday, July 20, 2015, the mother of Veteran Nigerian actress, Joke Silva, Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva died at the age of 89.

It's almost one year and the memory she has impacted in the lives of her children, especially, Joke Silva still lingers and very fresh in their memories.

Celebrating her post mortem birthday at 90, Joke marked the day by pouring encomiums on her mum who is regarded as an icon in her field.
