Joseph Yobo to Drag John Terry, Wayne Rooney and Samuel Eto’o to Port Harcourt
Guess which English Premier League players that are coming to Nigeria on May 27. Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo is officially retiring from professional football and he is doing it big in the Garden City of Port Harcourt. He has organized what he called Joseph Yobo Centenary Game.
Chelsea Captain, John Terry, Thierry Henry , Wayne Rooney, Samuel Eto'o, the Ayew Brothers, Dede and Jordan, Sulley Muntari, Djibrin Cisse and Tresor Lualua amongst others are those we are expecting to see in Port Harcourt for the match.
Yobo recently visited his Everton, which is his former club and he had a lot of fun while he was there. He has shown us a lot of pictures he took with his friends and old teammates. According to Coordinator of the Centenary Game, Waidi Akanni, he said;
“We are really excited by the confirmation of John Terry for the Yobo Centenary Game in Port Harcourt. He's one big player that is very popular here in the country because of England and Chelsea's large followership in Nigeria,”
We equally hope to see a lot of former Nigerian Super Eagles players that Yobo had spent time with during his active years as a footballer during the event.
