It was indeed a sad Saturday for gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele, as he lost one his band members, Tunde Oduneye, 39, few days ago after one of the trucks conveying their musical instruments back to Ibadan had a ghastly accident.

This happened after the band members left Ibadan, shortly after their performing at the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Olu Amore, a Commissioner of Police.

On their way, the truck entered a pot hole along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and swerved off the road into a deep ditch, killing one of the Engineering crew aboard while several others sustained various degrees of injuries.

The deceased is survived by a wife and a 2 year old child. Sadly, he was confirmed dead at the University College Hospital, Oyo state round 11pm on Saturday and was interred in his home town of Ijebu Igbo on Sunday evening.
