Birthday Gift: NBC Bans Olamide ‘Don’t Stop’ Music
Barely two days singer, Olamide, celebrated his birthday; he has just received a surprise birthday gift which is most expensive over all other gifts.
The singer woke up to the news of his song, 'Don't Stop' being banned by the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission NBC over the use of what they termed as “Vulgar lyrics.”
According to them, the phrases in the song that led to the ban includes, “I just wanna hit it now now now, Je kin wo be (meaning: let me enter the place) It took your mama 9 months to make,” with other parts.
As at the time of filing in this report, Olamide, who is still enjoying his birthday groove, is yet to share his thought on the matter of which to him might be too late since lots of people have the songs on their phones.
