Reveal: Why kunle Afolayan has not given his children any English name
Popular Nollywood actor and producer, Kunle Afolayan, in a recent interview monitored by Nollywoodgists.com, has disclosed that his kind of movies cut across different styles because the African story is very dynamic and needs to be reported in various ways.
He stated that he actually copy's the style from his father he was also into movie production and he was all about the Nigerian story as various things unfold in the society.
Kunle disclosed that his parents never gave him an English name because they believe that the Whites have their own culture and so Nigerians need to maintain their own culture.
The actor also revealed that following the steps of his parents, he also has not given his children any English name so they will understand that they have their culture as Nigerians to protect wherever they go to.
My parents never gave me an English and following their footstep, I also do not have any English name for my children because wherever they go to, I want them to always identify with their culture,” he said.
