Ooni of Ife Loses Grandmother
Centenarian, Madam Mariani Ayeyemi Ogunwusi, the paternal grandmother of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, who is the wife of Pa Joseph Olaobaju Ogunwusi (Ooni's grandpa), has passed on.
She died at the age of 104years after witnessing the coronation of her grandson as Ooni of Ife.
The grandmother, fondly called Mama Alaso, passed on 18 years after her husband, Pa Joseph Olaobaju Ogunwusi died.
What a celebration of life. RIP to mama.
