Nollywood actor Prince James Uche, seems to have been forgotten by many as he has been critically ill for sometimes now.

The actor, whose sickness of 8 years has kept him off the screen according to reports, has suddenly gone blind.

It can be recalled that the actor has been battling with so many illness ranging from Kidney failure to Heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and high blood pressure, which has made his family desert him and evicted from his home in Gbagada.

Still bed ridden, the one time President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria has reached out to his fans, colleagues in the industry and good citizen of the country to come to his aide as he is currently at Godspower hospital, 32, C Close, House 7, Festac Town, Lagos.

Prince James has acted in movies like; The Councilor, Igodo, Coronation and The lost Kingdom. He was also an active man in the industry before his sickness.

It will be recalled that the sickness of the actor earlier in the year became a topic of discuss with the Actors Guild of Nigeria being accused of abandoning the actor, but the Preseint, Ibinabo Fiberesima, had to come out to clear the air on the issue that the AGN had done its best to care for the actor.

She said, “There is so much that a guild can do. We have done everything possible to assist Prince James Uche. What I know is that we have taken care of him for medical treatment. We have receipts and his medical reports to prove this.

“I personally went to every actor that was ill and I took them to hospital for treatment. We took care of everybody that was sick. It wasn't about paying attention to only one person or two people. In fact, we still have the case of Ozor Akubueze on our hands. He has just undergone a second surgery.”
