Popular on-air-personality, Daddy Freeze, has also lend his voice in part of the challenges facing the Nigerian entertainment industry especially Nollywood.

The OAP stated that he has been observing the trend at which these pirates have continued to ruin the hard work of many movie producers that at the end the producers can no longer recoup the money they have invested in making a movie.

Making reference to Kunle Afolayan's 'October 1' and Ay's '30 Days in Atlanta' Daddy Freeze urged Nigerians and other consumers of fake products to burn them as he will gladly offer entertinmnets for the fight against piracy.

In his words, “I would like to seize this medium, to implore each and every Nigerian, to get up and burn all pirated/counterfeit products in their custody. Let's make a huge bonfire with all pirated products and I will provide entertainment and refreshments on this anti-piracy bonfire night! Don't say "I'm not an artiste so this is not for me."

Freeze seems to be enjoying the music of controversies he continues to play for himself as he had earlier in the year precisely in April, 2015, when he came insulting the entertainers that marched to the office of the then Governor of Lagos state, Raji Fashola, to seek support and help in curbing piracy.

The OAP had stated that the entertainers were crying foul because they also wear fake wristwatches.

"Celebrities marching against piracy yet they wear fake (Pirated) watches. Stop patronizing sites like these and maybe, just maybe they would stop pirating your movies and music. Funny thing about piracy is that it only hurts when it's been done to you! The same way it hurts when your material is being pirated is the same way it hurts Rolex, FranckMuller, Cartier, Hublot, Panerai Patek etc," he wrote.
