The seventh edition of Best of Nollywood awards will hold on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the ultra-modern event and cultural centre called 'The Dome', which is situated in the heart of Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, the governor of the state, has promised to give Nollywood stars and stakeholders a blast and a ball during the awards ceremony.

Meanwhile, organizers of this annual event have announced veteran actress, Bimbo Akintola and talented actor, Gideon Okeke as hosts of the show in 2015. Bimbo and Gideon will direct proceedings on that day and guests are expected from the industry, politics, corporate world, etc.

Bimbo has grown to be a phenomenon in the industry since making her acting debut some years ago. Since Gideon came into the mainstream after his appearance on MNET Africa's drama series 'Tinsel', he has also made a name for himself in the industry.

Hosts of BON awards in the past include Nonso Diobi, Slyvia Nduka, Fred Amata, Gbemi Olateru, amongst others.
