I Was Not in Good Terms With My Brother When Don Jazzy Picked Me…Reekado Banks

Mavin records singer, Reekado Banks, cannot curtail his joy for having gotten the record opportunity with his current label and having come this far in the industry.

The singer in a recent chat with Naij explained that he almost gave up singing since things were not going down well for him then in school but for his brother who helped out without his knowledge.

He explained that his brother was the one who sent his demo song to Don Jazzy who reached out for up and coming artistes on social media and fortunately he was picked.

“2 years ago I wanted to quit so I didn't think I would be this big. It was tiring I was in school but I just felt let me get my 100% back into music but few month later I meet miracle,” he said.

Reekado disclosed that he never knew what is brother was doing behind him because as at the time he sent the song to the Mavin producer; they were both not in good terms.

“Like I said it was like a miracle. He (Don Jazzy) sent out something on the internet and said people should send him their demo singles. Luckily for me brother did send mine. He sent it he didn't even tell me because at the time we were not in good terms and he sent it for me. Luckily my song was the only one picked out of the 5000,” he stated.
