Nigeria is not taking the issue of cancer with kid gloves and this is because of its deadly nature if not tackled rigorously. This is why all hands are on deck to defeat the silent killer disease that is eating deep into the society at the moment.

Over the weekend, wife of Nigeria's Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Dolapo, led several people, including some celebrities in a walk to create awareness on cancer.

Few of those on ground for the walk held in Abuja were Kate Henshaw, Uche Jombo, Toyin Aimakhu, Korede Bello amongst others.

The walked, which was organized by Medic Aids, kicked off at 2, Libreville Street, off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse Zone 2, Abuja, at around 7am on Saturday.
