Genevieve Nnaji is not a greenhorn in the movie industry. In fact, the mention of her name can open many doors.

Some years ago, she was among stars in Nollywood denied movie roles because some producers felt the Imo State-born actress and others were getting too powerful for them (producers) to bend like a dried fish.

That era brought about other faces in the film industry, who are today also stars in Nollywood.

In an interview with Vanguard, the multiple award-winning actress and respected figure in the showbiz industry explained that she does not choose roles to play in flicks but the producers.

“I don't actually choose the roles. Producers usually look out for actors they believe that can interprete certain roles. They usually choose me because they think and believe that I am a good role interpreter,” she told Vanguard.
