D'banj, other Stars for Screen Naija One Village One Cinema Launch on Saturday

Famous Afro hip hop singer D'banj who is the brand ambassador of the Bank of Industry is among the stars expected at the launching of the nationwide Screen Naija One Village, One Cinema Project at the popular Freedom Park on Lagos Island on Saturday June 22, 2013.

Highlights of the big event for over 500 guests are the outdoor cinema premiere of “Project Happiness”, public presentation of the new NOLLYWOOD MIRROR® magazine, special live rap music performance by the artiste known as 2MS and introduction of the Face of Screen Naija, Magdalene Masha, an upcoming actress and model.

D' Adashas To Perform At Screen Naija One Village, One Cinema Launch On Saturday

D'Adshas of "50/50 (Give n Take)" fame are set to perform live at the launching of Screen Naija One Village, One Cinema Project @ 5pm on Saturday June 22, 2013, at the popular Freedom Park on Broad Street, Lagos.

The D'Ashas are the hottest female music duo of two lovely sisters born and raised in Calabar, Deo Kiki and Shosho Kiki and popularly known for their hit debut album "Ima (Love)" in 2008 which enjoyed massive airplay home and abroad. D'Adshas followed up with three fantastic singles; "Tinkinikinik" featuring Dammy Krane, "Omo Naija" and "Temptation" featuring General Pype.
Their latest hit single is “MONEY LOVE” Featuring O'black.

Ndidi Obi of "Nneka The Pretty Serpent" fame said she is coming too.
The 1992 blockbuster Nollywood movie was directed by Zeb Ejiro and produced by Okechukwu Ogunjiofor with Eucharia Anunobi, Ngozi Ezeonu and Rita Nzelu and other top Nollywood stars.

The event is co-sponsored by the Bank of Industry and supported by the German Goethe-Institute in Nigeria, Projection Foundation, Nigerians Report Online, DVWORX Studios, iREP International Documentary Film Festival, Eko International Film Festival, Ekulo Group of Companies and other partners.

The event starts at 5pm and no gate fees.
