US-Based Doctor Builds 100 Bungalow For Widows
The people of Umuchukwu community in Anambra state were filled with joy when a US based Nigerian medical doctor Godwin Maduka,built not less than 100 bungalows for widows and other indigent persons in the community in Orumba South Local Government Area of the state.
Umuchukwu which used to have very many thatched houses has been rid of such as not less than 100 bungalows with green aluminum roofing sheets were built.
Maduka was said to have also built schools, hospitals, churches, security posts, industries, police station with modern working tools.
According to the US base medical doctor and Philanthropist,“I embarked on all these to save my people from my ugly experience while growing up. I grew up in a home that when it rained, it rained more inside than house.
“Wealth would be meaningless if it cannot be used to better the lives of the people around the custodian.
“The wealthy must provide jobs for the youths; build skills acquisition centers for willing adults, market stalls for men and women, if society must be secure,” he said.
Umuchukwu, a boundary community between Anambra and Abia State, is relatively rural.
