‘I’m Not Dying Of Diabetes’— Baba Suwe
Contrary to rumours making the round that renowned comedian, Babatunde Omidina a.k.a Baba Suwe, is currently bedridden and dying of diabetes and high blood pressure, http://www.nollywoodgists.com can reveal that he is hale and hearty.
Reacting to the rumour, Omidina, who was on his way to Osun State told http://www.nollywoodgists.com that the rumour was vile and unfounded. “I have never been diagnosed of diabetes nor bedridden over any strange ailment. The last time I visited my doctor was three months ago and nothing was detected,” he said. He promised to provide his medical history if demanded.
The actor also refuted claims that he was spotted at a local herbs shop, purchasing items to cure his ailment. “As you can see for yourself, I am hale and hearty and planning to travel to Osun State, where I am expected to be on the stage as the MC at a wedding ceremony,” he added.
http://www.nollywoodgists.com gathered that the 50-year old comedian is also on another musical project which will afford him the opportunity to promote upcoming stars. He said the project, which is one of his plans to give back to the society, will be launched to commemorate the release of his debut album featuring his wife, Monsurat Omidina.
