I Was Influenced By My Model Mother---Benson Okonkwo

Nollywood actor, Benson Okonkwo, who recently won the Most Fashionable Fast Rising Actor of The Year at the just concluded 4th Edition of Lagos Fashion Awards 2015, has maintained that even at old age, he would still be fashionable.

Speaking with Nollywoodgists.com about his recent award, the actor stated that aside being an actor, he personally pays serious attention to his outlook.

Benson explained that whenever he plans on going out, he makes sure his hair and beards are trimmed. “I don't joke with my dressing when stepping out because I know people are watching and I need to look good. I take time to ensure that my beards are well carved, you know it adds more beauty.”

The actor praised his mother for his dress sense, saying she had a huge influence in how he dresses.

“I think I got that from my lovely mum, Nancy Okonkwo, because she is a fashionista, she was once a model and she advised me to start modeling and acting because I used to be very shy when I was much younger,” he said.
