Popular Fuji singer, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, fondly called KWAM 1, is to be interrogated by the Ogun State Police Command over the shooting of a female undergraduate of the Olabisi Onabanjo Univeristy (OOU), Ago Iwoye, Ogun State over the weekend.

According to reports, the student, Kofowora Azeez of the Department of Business Education, was allegedly shot in the bottom by a guard of the famous musician at a show held in Ago Iwoye.

It was said that the incident happened at about 1:00 a.m. and that the 21-year-old lady was in a car beside NASFAT building opposite Limelite Hotel, where KWAM 1 performed.

The PPRO of Ogun State, Muyiwa Adejobi, told Premium Times that the singer will be invited for questioning over the incident.

“We are going to invite the musician for questioning because the police will not condone violence in any form. We are inviting him for interrogation and possibly to get the perpetrator who fired the innocent lady,” Muyiwa said.
