My Father Once Said That I’m Brilliant but not Intelligent

One of Nigeria's most respected comedian and entrepreneur, Teju Babyface, is seriously making a name for himself in his craft which is entertainment and at every given opportunity; the comedian always attributes his success to his father.

Teju Babyface, in a recent interview on popular programme, 'Your Views,' monitored by Nollywoodgists.com, while recalling what his father once told him after watching his show, said that he is brilliant but not intelligent.

On why his father made such comment, the comedian said his father told him this because he was always dating girls for two years and then dropped them while he was planning towards settling down.

According to him, “my father said that the comedian said a man that dates a girl for two years and drop her, is brilliant because he wasted the girl's time but a man that dates a girl for six months and ends it is the intelligent person. Which means that he (Teju) has issues with timing and decision making.”

Speaking about his acting career, the comedian stated that featuring in the movie 'Diamond Ring,' was not easy as it took his producer, Taye Ogidan time to put him to shape.

He noted that though he can now act, but stressed that he is not a good actor and cannot stand the continuous call to take various parts of the script.
