It seems the format used nowadays by some lazy youths is to solicit for money from celebrities, hoping to get such on sympathy.

This may have angered former winner of Big Brother Africa (BBA), Uti Nwachukwu.

The handsome model-cum-actor explained that a certain young man contacted him, asking for N40,000 to complete his school fees, but that he (Uti) offered to give him N20,000 after he had verified the authenticity of his claims to make sure he's not a scammer.

However, to his surprise, the young man rejected the N20,000 offer, reportedly saying 'it's not enough.

Uti lashed out at the young man and his likes, who make a living from this type of behaviour. He disclosed that he has a team that investigates the authenticity of such requests. Uti urged youths to desist from such acts.
