Last Sunday, September 20, 2015, Nollywood actress, Halima Abubakar, was honoured at the African Women Awards, where she was named the Most Dynamic Actress of the year.

However, she was unable to attend the event because she was admitted at a hospital for an undisclosed illness.

But the good news is that the actress has been discharged by her doctor after undergoing treatment at the hospital.

She confirmed this saying, “Thank God for health and safety back home after all the injections. Thank you to African Women Awards for honouring me with this award, Most Dynamic Actress of the year.

“I was actually on admission and just getting home to the team. I'm honoured, may God bless you all.”
