Due to their striking resemblance, many had thought that popular musician, Tuface Idibia and another fast rising singer, Joe El have blood ties.

Aside their physical attributes, the young lad also sounds familiar to Tubaba, in songs.

On that note, some of their fans have been comparing them in different ways, but Joe El on his part doesn't want to be compared to the music legend, because according to the singer who is signed to Kennis Music, he is not trying to clone Tubaba and there's no competition between them.

He attested that he is fully aware that people say he sounds and looks like Tuface but it is not intentional. He believes that his voice and songs are unique, but wants people to stop comparing them. The singer said that he has been sounding his unique way ever since he was in a choir and described Tuface as his idol.

“I have always looked and sounded the way I do ever since I was in the church choir, even before I became a fan of Tuface. There is no competition between me and Tuface. Tuface is a demi-god; he is my idol and big brother. He is a very humble person. Despite the fact that people say I am trying to replace him, he still came down to our studio to record a song with me. He even told us that he heard all what people say but it did not deter him from coming to the studio to sing with me,” he said.
