P-Square Music Producer, Fliptyce Spent School Fees to Buy Speaker to Produce Beats
Popular music producer, Folorunso Busayo Philips better known as Fliptyce, who has produced beats for the likes of Danny Young, P-Square's 'Chop My Money' and many others.
Fliptyce in a recent interview stated that he started music production when computers were not in circulation then and he had to make use of business centers where photocopies are being made and would make some of his beats there.
While recalling the challenges he faced while making beats, the beat maker explained that at some point he had to spend his school fees on buying speakers then to use at the business center and had to start looking for means of how to raise the money to pay his school fees.
He also stated that there were some occasions where he will be producing beats using generator and sometimes the voltage goes high and all his works were being distorted and he has to start all over.
According to him, “I went through a lot of challenges while making beats. I started making beats when computers was not in circulation and I usually go to business centers to make beats and sometimes I borrow computers to take home for weeks and later return it. It got to a point that I had to use my school fees to buy speaker and was later looking for how to replace the money. Sometimes, the generator's voltage can just go up and the system will just go off and my works are gone that I have to start all over.”
