Penultimate week, top movie producer, director and organizer of the prestigious Abuja International Film Festival, Fidelis Duker, was attacked by street urchins around Akoka area of Lagos state, when he was returning from his office.

According to the information gathered, the hoodlums snatched all his cell phones and other valuables without hurting him.

This incident made it impossible for all the well-wishers, friends and business partners of the Eldorado producer, to reach him two weeks back.

Few days after this incident, Duker who refused to be deterred as a result of his passion for film-making, jetted to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, to continue all arrangements to host this year's edition of the festival.
