Why I Rejected Davido’s Deal—CDQ
Fast-rising indigenous rapper, CDQ, has been getting mentions lately since he penned a deal with Masterkraft's General Records.
In a recent interview with HipTV, the singer pointed out that he has no regrets being signed to the record label, shunning a call from Davido to join his HKN gang.
According to him, Davido contacted him when he had already signed a deal with General Records.
In his words, “I got a text from Davido one morning, and he was like we should have a meeting. So we set it up and he wanted me to join HKN gang but unfortunately, I already signed to General Records owned by Masterkraft so we couldn't make it happen.”
