A campaign aimed at raising awareness on the increasing rate of sexual abuse in the society has kicked off.

The initiative, 'Break The Silence', is a campaign put together by the 8 Foundation.

Recently, the organisers reached out to some personalities in the showbiz industry to support the programme.

They carried placards to express their views on the issue, which has given many social activists sleepless nights.

Organisers of the campaign want those who have been molested in one way or other to summon the courage to speak out.
