Chairman of Silverbird Group, Ben Murray-Bruce, who is now a Senator in the National Assembly, has suggested the sack of any head of government agencies that places adverts in the media praising politicians.

The lawmaker stated that it is wrong for such adverts to placed using tax payers' money.

“Heads of any Ministry or agency that take out adverts in papers to praise politicians should be fired. How can we waste taxpayer's money like that?” he questioned.

Speaking further, Ben Bruce warned Nigerians to be mindful of what the foreign media say about us.

“It is mental slavery to allow foreign media dictates what we think about Nigeria and her institutions. They can't love Nigeria more than Nigerians,” he said.
