What a sad way to celebrate Eld El Mubarak! Delectable woman of essence, Hajia Habiba Abubakar is bereaved. She lost her ageless mother to the cold hands of death today while returning from a marriage ceremony of one of her stepdaughters.

According to the brief sent in by one Ifeanyi Daniel, he announced the passing away of the good-hearted woman whose ideas and giving-spirit was inherited by her daughter, Hajia Habiba Abdullai Abubakar in a car accident while returning from Sokoto to Abuja where she went for the Nikkai ceremony.

Details of how the accident occurred are yet to be conveyed to us, however, it was learnt that Habiba instructed one of her brothers to speedily fly her mother to Bupa Hospital, London on hearing about the unfortunate incident but it was not meant to be as she gave up the ghost while been taken to the airport.

Her remains has been laid to rest this morning in Kano according to Islamic rites. Meanwhile, Hajia immediately took the next available flight from her base in London alongside her children to come and mourn her departed mother.

The deceased is survived by six Children, three sons and three daughters amongst who is the philanthropist per excellence, Hajia Habiba, who happens to be her first daughter.
