Ebola Visit: Gov. Fashola Finally Reveals Why His Hands Were Pocketed

Governor Raji Fashola has finally spoken on the viral picture of him putting his hands in his pocket during his visit to the First consultant hospital in Lagos, where the first Ebola patient was admitted.

The governor during the Lagos state governorship campaign in Lagos, stated that the reason was that as human, he and his team that visited the hospital were scared but he had no choice but to still go down and visit the hospital to know the state of things.

According to the governor, “I wanted to shake doctor Adeshina, but he declined and on seeing that, I decided to put my hand in my pocket because I was scared too. When we get back to the hospital, the doctor came to apologize to me that he is scared that he could have been infected by the virus. He was kept under close observation for 21 days and further observations were done on other suspected patients and when they were certified fit, I invited them to my office and gave them a hug.”

The governor boasted that he cannot be a leader and the life of his followers are being endangered while he sits and watch without doing anything. “When you are endangered, I will put my life in front to save you.”

Proving that he is a governor for the masses, Fashola at the end of the campaign, decided to take the closing prayer himself in a Christian way which took many by surprise.
