Nollywood Loses Filmmaker To Death
The Nigerian movie industry has again lost one of its own to the cold hands of death, the death of a young Nigerian filmmaker, Rode Ibru, is still a shock to the Nollywood fraternity as they are yet to get over the sudden loss.
Rode, who was 34 years old before his death, was the son of a former Oceanic Bank Managing Director, Cecilia Ibru. His demise was made public over the weekend after he was laid to rest. He reportedly died in June 2015.
One of the sympathisers, a Nollywood actress, Ufuoma McDermott, prayed that God gives the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the huge loss.
