Son of late Legendary Afro-beat singer, Fela Kuti, Seun Kuti, who is known for always blowing hot just like his late father, attacking the Mal-administration of the government, has thrown stone on some Nigerian and African musicians.

The singer who was recently on tour, told BBC that younger African musicians are now fond of showing off their material wealth on various platforms they can just to show that they have arrived.

He stated that he thinks the new African mindset has to transcend these shallow identities that they impose on themselves.

Noting that African singers cannot continue to be telling people about how big their cars and houses are while they go about degrading women in their videos.

"We cannot be telling people how big our cars are, how big our houses are, and degrading our women on music videos" he said.
