I’m Sorry for Actions on The Pitch...Ogenyi Onazi

Nigerian player Onazi Ogenyi Eddy, is currently preparing for his football talent hunt show which is tagged 'The Onazi 5 A-side Challenge,' which will be coming up on the 18th of June through to the 20th of June.

The player stated that this was another way to unearth the next Super Eagles stars in Benue state.
The programme is in conjunction with The Benue state Government, The Benue Football Association, Nike and CRIG Consult.

Meanwhile the Lazio player has also apologized to his fans about his unprecedented behaviour during the qualifying match between the Super eagles of Nigeria and Chad over the weekend.

He was shown a straight red, after he shoved a Chadian player when Nigeria was awarded a penalty. Odion Ighalo stepped up to convert the spot-kick, but the Eagles had to battle on with 10 men.

According to him, “I don't ever feel like I have the right to refuse the criticism of the same people who praise me even when I don't deserve it.”

“I let my team mates and our loyal fans down with my action on the pitch today. I apologize for my actions. Thank you for your usual support,” he said.
