I Have No Twitter Account—Flying Eagles Star, Taiwo Awoniyi Warns
A member of the Flying Eagles team at the 2015 FIFA Under 20 World Cup in New Zealand, Taiwo Awoniyi, has warned his fans not to fall prey of a fraudster, who has been using his name on Twitter to ask for money and gifts from them.
Taiwo took to his Instagram page to make this announcement on Monday, saying, “There is one using @_awoniyi on Twitter making people believing is me and through that means doing all such of acts like lying to collect money gift and all.
“Please, I have no Twitter account pals, he is a fraud. Kindly help in sharing this please. Thanks, much love.”
Opening of parody accounts of public figure is not new in this part of the world. However, most of them get away with the crime.
