I Once Begged Record Labels To Sign Me - Mc Galaxy
Before fame and fortune comes the way of an artiste, the challenges and storms of life before them would have to sharpen them to become a better person and MC Galaxy is an example.
The 'Sekem' crooner revealed in an interview with Punch, that he once begged record labels to sign him up but he was shunned down because they thought he was not worth the investment at the time.
Answering the question, 'Why are you signed on with your own label?', he replied that if the record label had known that he was going to be as successful, they would have signed him up.
"Before I founded my label, I used to beg people to allow me sign on with their labels but they did not believe in me. I'm sure if some of those label owners knew I was going to be this big, they would have signed me. I have learnt from that experience and already, I have two artistes signed on with my label," he said.
The artiste now boast of a record label and has signed some other artistes. He is said to be charging as much as N3.5million per show for corporate bodies.
