Anambra Police Deny Shutting Down Human Flesh Serving Restaurant
Anambra policeAnambra State Police Command has debunked the report that went viral in the Print, Electronic and Social media that a restaurant serving human flesh as meat was shut down in the state.
Addressing journalists at the State Police Command in Awka, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Uche Ezeh, said the report is highly regrettable as no such incident happened in Anambra state.
He added that what may be seen as close to the story was what took place in 2013 when police received intelligence report that a hotel, Upper Class, in Onitsha, was used by ritualists, which the State Government at the time demolished according to the law of the state.
He cautioned journalists to verify their stories before publishing, while assuring citizens of their safety as they are up in arms against crime and criminality in the state.
