Fatherhood Responsible For My Long Absence—Jazzman Olofin

Ace Nigerian singer, Olumuyiwa Olofinkuade Olajide, better known as Jazzman Olofin, has disclosed that he will be releasing his album before the end of 2015, stressing however that he is not in a rush to do that.

The artiste, also the CEO of Jazzman Olofin Entertainment, also stated that he is trying to study the trend in the industry at the moment before dropping the album, which will be preceded by the release of some of his singles.

Speaking with HipTV on his long absence from the industry, Jazzman explained that fatherhood took him away from showbiz. He added that during that time, he was also busy with the development of a new television programme.

Jazzman Olofin said artistes now in the industry have good lyrics, but lack good construction of songs.

“Some of these young ones are good lyrically, but some do not know how to write and I enjoy their club bangers as well,” he said.
