Belinda Effah is now one of the most sought after budding actresses in Nollywood.

At the 2015 African Magic Viewers Choice Awards, she got people talking at the dress she wore.
It was not just her core African outfit but also her unique choice of hair for the black tie event.

However, in recent times Effah's sexuality has often been misinterpreted, while some see her and a bisexual diva, others could bet that the Cross-River state born script interpreter is a Lesbian.

Nollywoodgists.com met with the actress to shed more lights on the real reasons fingers are pointing at her 'straightness'.

She admitted that indeed she has been a Lesbian, but for a movie role, which she interpreted very well.

"Well, I'm playing the role of a lesbian in a new movie but that has in no way affected or would affect my straightness. One thing in this life is that no matter you do, good or bad, people would always have wrong perception of you, then condemn you as well.

As an actress, I have learnt to be everything, I could wear the character of anybody and do it so well.

I played the role like I was really into it because I don't want to be seen as good in just one aspect.

As long as I love what I do and it puts money into my account, I don't really care about what people think.

I think I should be applauded for acting lesbian roles so well, not being condemned." She said giggling.
