The Five Star records act lost his father Wednesday morning in his hometown in Ogijo, Delta State. Harrysong who broke the news of his father's demise to E said it was the most shocking news he has ever received.

According to him, life without his father, whom he described as his companion would be difficult.

“I am speechless right now. I lost my father this morning (Wednesday) and I am on my way to my hometown to meet with other members of the family. The death came as a rude shock. I will miss him so much.” he wrote on Twitter.
